Two New Relationship Managers Join Bankers' Bank of Kansas

We are pleased to introduce two new relationship managers at Bankers’ Bank of Kansas, Lori Ellis and James Leftwich, who are here to help strengthen the partnerships we build with you every day. BBOK remains committed to delivering exceptional service and practical solutions to help contribute towards your success.

Lori has over 30 years of banking and financial services experience, beginning her career as a Teller at a community bank in Lincoln, Nebraska. After moving to Iowa, she gained broad experience in a variety of roles including Assistant Cashier, Relationship Banker, Security Officer, IRA/SDB Specialist, Operations, and Teller Supervisor, building a strong foundation in banking operations and client service. She later spent 15 years at SHAZAM as a Customer Support Representative and Relationship Manager, followed by roles with Automated Systems, Inc. as a Client Liaison and American Bank Systems as a Senior Territory Manager, where she worked with both new and existing clients. Outside of work, Lori enjoys spending time with her husband of 41 years and her family, volunteering each year at the Waste Management Phoenix Open in Scottsdale, and traveling to Kansas and Nebraska to visit her four adult children and soon-to-be six grandchildren.

When asked what excites her most about joining Bankers’ Bank of Kansas, Lori stated, “I am excited to meet with our partners to strengthen existing relationships and build new ones.”

 

James has built a strong network in Kansas community banking over the course of his long tenure in the title insurance industry. He is a BLOK graduate and has remained actively involved with the Kansas Bankers Association, reflecting his commitment to the banking community and ongoing professional relationships. Growing up in Wellington and attending the University of Kansas, James brings a deep Kansas-rooted perspective to his work and community connections. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with family, playing golf, and watching sports.

When asked what excites him most about joining Bankers’ Bank of Kansas, James stated, “I’m looking forward to building relationships with banks in our area and helping BBOK grow.”
