BBOK Announces Promotions

Justin Sparks will assume the role of President/CEO of Bankers’ Bank of Kansas, effective February 18th.

Justin joined the BBOK team in 2021. He attributes fostering a strong team to his success as a community banker – helping customers weather the peaks and valleys of the financial industry. Justin is a relationship guy who takes seriously his role of being a steward to his customers, team members and organization.

Jen Caughron has been promoted to Executive Vice President – Chief Growth Officer.

Jen is a key strategic leader and in her new role, she will focus on driving growth and expansion for the bank. Her natural ability to evaluate the answers on a root level has translated into a successful career. Jen appreciates customers who provide actionable feedback. She believes direct communication coupled with employee and customer collaboration manifest the best outcomes.

 

Chris Howell has been promoted to Senior Vice President – Chief Credit Officer.

He will oversee the Commercial Loan Department, managing and mitigating credit risks associated with the loan portfolio. Chris’ extensive experience has enhanced our lending team’s capacity and supported growth and risk management strategies across the bank.

 

Alison Clutter has been promoted to Vice President – Senior Lender.

Alison has been a valuable member of our team. She connects well with customers, has a deep understanding of the lending process, and has strong credit background to understand the needs, objectives, and challenges when lending to different industries. She will help lead the loan operations department, continue building the loan portfolio, and deepen relationships with our customers. Alison believes in supporting the community that you live in and growing up in rural Oklahoma, she learned how banks can fill this important role. Supporting banks as they invest in their communities and seeing businesses succeed is what makes her position as VP – Senior Lender at BBOK rewarding.

 

Amanda Williams has been promoted to Vice President – Chief Administration Officer.

Amanda’s expanded responsibilities will include providing leadership that blends administrative oversight with strategic development support to achieve business growth. She is responsible for ensuring every interaction is meaningful and targeted. Amanda is an assertive multi-tasker who keeps projects and people moving toward common goals. Her optimistic, warm demeanor is contagious – keeping those around her focused and calm.

 

Christine McKenna has been promoted to Assistant Vice President – Bank Card Operations Manager.

Christine will continue to be responsible for operations in the Bank Card Department growing in her oversight of the day-to-day aspects of the operations and customer service teams. Christine leans on the combination of her marketing background and her experience in banking to bring unique insight to her role. One of the things she loves most about her job is the opportunity to put her organizational skills to work to create new efficiencies and streamline tasks for the best customer experience.
