Bankers' Bank of Kansas Supports Local Charities with Annual Holiday Project
For over 19 years, our team at Bankers’ Bank of Kansas have united to support charitable organizations in our community. This year, we directed our focus to providing resources to the Wichita Children’s Home, EmberHope, and Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita.
This year, we expanded our efforts to include Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita (RMHC Wichita). RMHC Wichita provides a comfortable home and resources to families whose children are seeking medical care in Wichita. The primary demographic of families that the organization houses is those at least 30 miles outside of the Wichita area, and more specifically families in western Kansas. The BBOK Holiday Project consists of various voluntary contribution methods:
Christmas Card Donation
At Bankers’ Bank of Kansas, we have a longstanding tradition of redirecting the funds we usually spent on sending Christmas cards to customers towards our BBOK Holiday Project. This year we were able to add an additional $1,000 towards the funds given to Wichita Children’s Home, EmberHope, and RMHC Wichita in which those donations are dedicated to our exceptional customers.
Employee Donation
Between October 1, 2024, and December 2, 2025, BBOK employees had the opportunity to voluntarily donate any amount of funds by placing a cash or check into our locked holiday giving box. Employees were challenged to meet a goal of $1,000 and exceeded the goal by raising $1,114.
BBOK Match
BBOK matched all employee donations up to $1,000.
Compliance Training
BBOK staff members were assigned compliance training and for each employee that completed their training, $25 was donated on their behalf. All 46 BBOK employees completed their training by the deadline and $1,150 in total was donated to the holiday project.
Special Customer Donation
During our 2024 Annual Customer Golf Tournament, Les Dreiling, Jordan Dreiling, Bob Underwood, and Jason Hoover were generous enough to donate their flight award money to Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita. Their $225 donation went towards a check that was given to RMHC Wichita. Thank you!
