Marketing A Priority for Bank Card Department

The Bank Card department is focused on helping our community bank partners grow your portfolio, and ultimately, your revenues. Marketing is a key element for healthy card programs. BBOK recently took another step toward our commitment to marketing by naming Lea Gubitz bank card marketing representative. In her new role, Lea will assist customer banks with marketing and program incentives. We hope you will connect with Lea to receive sales tips, learn about training opportunities, and sign up to participate in the latest promotions. Several promotions are slated for the coming months to encourage increased usage and applications.

Business Rewards Incentive

 We want all of our business cardholders to opt in to the rewards program. As an added incentive, we're giving away $1 million bonus points! This promotion began July 1 and will run until our points run out or August 2014, whichever comes first. On the first transaction after a cardholder opts in, 1,000 bonus points will automatically be added to their statement. We encourage you to reach out to your business card customers and tell them about the rewards and incentives to opt-in and use their card. In the coming months, cardholders will also see a message on their statement.

Fall Promotion

The VISA fall promotion is designed to increase your new card accounts and grow your revenues. 35 banks have signed up to participate in the promotion for a chance to win great prizes by turning in completed applications. Bank employees who submit credit card applications or have the most approved applications will be eligible for great prizes like Redbox rentals, iTunes and Amazon gift cards, Kindle Fires and BluRay players. Banks can also win prizes to share. Individual and bank prizes are awarded in two asset categories so everyone has a chance to win!
