The importance of banks maintaining a stake in payments is key to retaining relationships with core customers.
BBOK is committed to ensuring Kansas banks are represented when decisions about the future of payments are being made. Chris Gilbert, BBOK's CIO and Candice Jackson, BBOK's Electronic Banking Manager, were chosen by the Fed in 2015 to participate on future payments committees comprised of stakeholders from various sizes, industries and geographic locations.
Chris and Candice drafted the white paper below to provide key points from a 63 page report released on July 21, 2017 by the Federal Reserve Faster Payments Task Force. If you didn't have a chance to participate in our webinars in June about this topic, stay tuned as relevant information is released.
This is the first step in the process of creating a faster payments solution by 2020. We will continue to have an active voice on behalf of Kansas banks and will serve as a resource to you as the process evolves. Please feel free to contact Chris at firstname.lastname@example.org or Candice at email@example.com if you have any questions or would like to weigh in on the future of payments.
